I know...I know...I was a little late in posting the May newsletter but let's face it, there's a lot going here right now. The smells of spring are in the air. The golf shop is fully stocked, and ready to service your golfing needs, and we'll even leave you with some money for gas to get home. We want you playing golf, not wishing you could still afford it. So if you feel the need for recreation, and are worried about how much it will cost you, remember this; Weekend green fees are still less than $50.00. Poquoy Brook features a great golf shop that is full of great values, and brand names. We don't specialize in close-outs, but we don't just hand out cart keys and Pro V's either. In addition we also ACCEPT TRADE-INS, provide PROFESSIONAL CLUB FITTING AND REPAIR SERVICES, and feature a great selection of apparel and accessories as well. In addition to providing award winning golf at half the price of some of our competitors, we also offer some great services and products here that perhaps you were unaware of. So in no particular order, here's the list: Unlimited golf with our Season Pass. An oustanding Corporate Membership. A very active Association providing great competetive and social opportunities for golf. Professional club fitting. Professional Golf instruction and schools. Women's & Couples Leagues. Professional event planning for your charitable or corporate outing. WE ACCEPT TRADE-INS!!! A selection of used equipment at rock bottom prices. A great spot to have lunch and watch some golf on our beautiful deck overlooking hole 18. As you can see, there's something for everyone here at the Brook. Do yourself a favor. Keep checking this website often. We're always adding something new. So...rumor has it that you're a pretty good range player. It's good to be good at something I guess. So if you like to beat balls until your hands are bleeding have we got just the thing. Our range punch card lets you save half the price on range balls. Let's say you came to Poquoy Brook on your lunch break and hit 25 small buckets of balls. Those balls would cost you $100.00 total, but with the range punch card you get the same amount of balls for $50.00. So you're probably asking yourself how does that make sense for the club? Well...it doesn't. But the way we look at it is that we want you playing golf, and getting better, so if we have to take a beating on something, it might as well be practice balls. Besides...if you're getting better, you're playing more golf, and you're happier doing it. We like happy golfers. So the next time you're in the golf shop get the card and use the other $50.00 dollars for something else...like a round of golf. STOP ABSUING PERFECTLY GOOD GOLF BALLS!!! It didn't do anything to you to deserve the type of thrashing that you're about to impart on it. When this golf ball was nothing more than an oozing mass of core fragments it had big dreams of being the ball that won the club championship. Somehow though...it wound up in your bag. Stop the golf ball abuse...and take some lessons this season. PGA Professionals Gary Cardoza Jr. and John Oteri have a great slate of programs designed with one purpose in mind...stopping the senseless abuse of golf balls. Professional instruction, at affordable prices. Didn't think you could afford lessons? Think again. We want you playing golf...not wishing you could still afford it. Well dear readers I wish I had more time to keep telling you about all the great things going on here at Poquoy Brook this season, but frankly we're really busy here right now making sure that what we deliver is worth every dollar you spend here.
